Internationalization Committee

The role of the Internationalization Committee is to develop and sustain programmes and projects aimed at strengthening the Department’s international dimension by increasing the mobility of its students and academic staff and enhancing its attractiveness to foreign students/academics. More specifically, the committee liaises with the University’s International Committee, supports initiatives aimed at attracting graduates of foreign universities to join the Department as postgraduate students, researchers or lecturers, administers the Erasmus programme for all the Department’s undergraduate degree courses, works to increase the number of course modules available through English, promotes the setting up of international agreements, and fosters both incoming and outward student mobility, for example, by providing guidance and support for students wishing to participate in international mobility programmes.
