On 19 November 2024, the seminar Promoting inclusive research in heterogeneous digital contexts: epistemological, ethical and methodological dilemmas took place at the University of Milano-Bicocca and online, drawing nearly 180 participants from diverse backgrounds, both virtually and in person.

The event explored the complexities of engaging in research during the ongoing digital transition, particularly in relation to marginalized or invisible populations. Speakers tackled the epistemological, ethical, and methodological challenges associated with such research endeavours, sparking rich discussions and new insights.

As part of the Permanent Seminar Series hosted by the research center CAPTED, this event exemplified a commitment to advancing interdisciplinary and intergenerational dialogue. Professors and keynote speakers shared the stage with doctoral researchers conducting cutting-edge studies, fostering a dynamic exchange of perspectives and "food for thought.”
