Our collection of voices from inside the “Education in Contemporary Society” PhD program continues with an interview with Petar Lefterov, enrolled in the 38th cycle.
What does psychology have to do with social sciences? Eugenia Campanella is a psychologist in her second year of her PhD in Education in Contemporary Society (ESC) at the Department of Human Sciences for Education “Riccardo Massa” at UniMiB. She tells us that these two disciplines intersect in more than one way, because mental health requires quality of life.
The Center serves as a key reference point for research in the field of Medical Humanities and Narrative Medicine, adopting an interdisciplinary and innovative approach to healthcare practice. Through an extensive network of academic collaborations, local services, and cultural institutions, it aims to strengthen the relationship between medicine, narrative, and the humanization of care, contributing to the reinforcement of a patient-centered medical paradigm that considers the individual in their entirety and uniqueness.

The Doctorate in Cultural and Social Anthropology (DACS), the only one of its kind in Italy, is an SSD SDEA-01/A exclusive programme that trains researchers and professionals in demoethnoanthropological sciences, a body of knowledge that addresses the multiple cultural and social dimensions of human life from a comparative perspective, bringing together cultures, societies and human spheres that are considered distant and often antagonistic. DACS is characterised by dialogue between anthropological knowledge and the other human and social sciences.
