What does psychology have to do with social sciences? Eugenia Campanella is a psychologist in her second year of her PhD in Education in Contemporary Society (ESC) at the Department of Human Sciences for Education “Riccardo Massa” at UniMiB. She tells us that these two disciplines intersect in more than one way, because mental health requires quality of life.

The doctoral program in Intangible Heritage in Socio-Cultural Innovation was created in agreement with the University of Perugia and Basilicata to promote the diversity of the country system, without losing sight of local specificities.
The Ph.D. and Ph.D. students will address the processes of mediation, interpretation and participation that enable the active protection of heritages of proximity, the role of public policies and the problems of governance of intangible heritage on various levels of scale (municipal, regional, interregional, national), cooperation between public and private actors, the importance of participatory and inclusive valorization (with anthropological, artistic, communicative, economic, pedagogical, psychological, sociological, historical looks), the challenges of digitization, the ethical dimension and community involvement.

CAPTED-NEXT is made of research fellows and PhD candidates engaged in research topics that are fundamental to the mission of the Departmental Research Center CAPTED.
The group is built on collaboration and intergenerational dialogue, exemplifying the Research Center’s commitment to building an interdisciplinary scientific community based on peer education processes, aimed at giving young researchers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the debate on the socio-educational and cultural implications of the digital transition.
Monitoring meetings on the progress of research projects are mandatory for all PhD candidates in active cycles (1st, 2nd, and 3rd year). Meetings are held every two months, unless specific needs are identified by the faculty board or by the PhD candidates themselves.
The dates of the monitoring meetings are available in the academic calendar.
