Visiting fellowships programme
The Visiting Fellowships Programme offers to both young and established researchers, scholars, and practitioners from around the world the opportunity to spend a period of time conducting research in the University of Milano Bicocca Department of Human Sciences for Education.
The Junior Visiting Fellowships Programme offers to young researchers (no more than 5 years after PhD) from around the world the opportunity to spend a period of time conducting research with a faculty member of the Department of Human Sciences and Education – normally between one and two months, though longer visits may be arranged.
During the stay, Junior Visiting Fellows will pursue their research project in one of the fields of interest of a faculty member, and will actively engage with the Department’s initiatives.
The Junior Visiting Fellowships will cover costs for travel and lodging up to 3.000 euros. Junior Visiting Fellows will be provided with office space, and will have access to the facilities of the Department, including library, computing and printing facilities.
Applications will be evaluated by a Committee within the Department of Human Sciences and Education. Forthcoming deadlines for 2020 applications: 28 February 2020.
Applications should be sent to:
Prof. Giorgio Bertolotti
Dipartimento di Scienze umane per l’educazione
Università di Milano Bicocca

and should include the following:

The Senior Visiting Fellowships Programme offers to established researchers, scholars, and practitioners from around the world the opportunity to spend a period of time conducting research in the University of Milano Bicocca Department of Human Sciences and Education – normally between one and two months, though longer visits may be arranged.
During the stay, Visiting Fellows will pursue their own research project, but they are expected to play an active part in the intellectual life of the Department by attending talks and discussions, and by making themselves available to PhD students in their field of expertise.
The Fellowships will cover costs for travel and lodging up to 5.000 euros. Visiting Fellows will be provided with office space, and will have access to the facilities of the Department, including library, computing and printing facilities.
