This presentation will address the question of how diverse actors can produce mental health knowledge and care more inclusively and equitably across epistemic differences than is currently the case. I will focus on mutual learning, capacity building, shared learning, mutual collective accountability, and the African philosophy of Ubuntu. I will share information about the Together to Transform study which seeks to leverage and shift existing institutional power towards practices of power- sharing and dialogue across epistemic divides.
