Mackda Ghebremariam Tesfau' The bell hooks pedagogical trilogy addresses the theme of healing through the exercise of committed knowledge, devoted to building a community of love. Critical thinking becomes an instrument of liberation and a condition of possibility for this community to-be. Through an analysis of the main concepts expressed by the author, the lecture aims to be an introduction to hooks' pedagogical thinking, a committed pedagogy that takes the tools of liberation pedagogy and feminist pedagogy to overcome them in a perspective of construction of self and community.
